Putin says Russians’ real income starts to recover, poverty falls
MOSCOW, Oct 4 (PRIME) -- Russians’ real disposable income has started to recover and the amount of people living below the subsistence level has started to decrease, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday at the Russian Energy Week.
“The real disposable income of the population has started to recover, which makes me very happy,” Putin said.
He said that the economy is growing stably, direct capital investment is rising and there is trade surplus, while inflation and unemployment are at record lows.
